What does Swiftcover third-party fire and theft insurance cover?

Essentially Swiftcover fire in the insurance covers damage to other people’s vehicles and property but not your own. Swiftcover third party fire and theft insurance also covers the repair or replacement of the vehicle due to damage caused by fire or if it is stolen. Injuries to other people that occur as a result of the accident will also be covered under this insurance policy. If you want to protect your own vehicle then you should opt for comprehensive car insurance.

How can I make changes to my Swiftcover car insurance?

One of the advantages of Swiftcover car insurance is the ability to review your policy and make changes online. Through your Swiftcover online account you can print out your documents, renew your policy, and make changes to your policy and account information. You will not be charged for any changes or renewals made online.

Are there additional charges when driving your car in another country?

With Swiftcover car insurance you are able to drive your car in any country in the European Union for up to three days without any additional charges. During this period you will receive the same level of coverage but at no additional cost. If you plan to drive your vehicle for more than three days in another car country then you need to update your car insurance. You can do this by logging into your online account and then choosing the “Driving Abroad Cover” link. You then need to select the dates which you will be driving the car in another country. This will automatically adjust your car insurance make sure that you are properly covered.
